After the Kevin situation, K2 took me to Golds to Spin, but we decided to stay and attend our first Zumba class. In my head, it was some African dance party. Ok, I never heard of what it actually was. Nope, it's a Latin dance class and holy crap it's awesome. My feet never move as quickly as the girl wants them to move, but I love the class and it always kicks my ass. There's also an absurd amount of inappropriate girating, especially the early morning classes. I did it Wednesday and K2 and I headed there this morning.

Have you seen this movie? It's honestly one of the most random and hysterically funny movies ever. My mom had it at her place and we watched it together one night when I was visiting. I loved it so much, I watched it probably 3 more times while I was there and came back to DC and bought myself a copy. Oops. I just can really relate to the girl's frustrations of expecting something different out of life and big changes, etc. I also think the male lead is HOT.

My Mom

Poor mom. I'm an only child. I know I was a total brat growing up. She put up with it by herself, and then continues to support me and be there for me. Love you mom.

PLL

Have you seen Pretty Little Liars?  I've been watching the show since it first came on a few weeks ago. It's absurd yet amazing. I watch it religiously every Tuesday, sometimes staying up to watch the 10pm rerun if I miss the 8pm debut. I love every character in this show and go back and forth between which girl I want to be should this be my life. I always go back between Hannah and Aria. None of the girls are actually like I am in real life, obviously I'm not in High School. But this is my serious obsession on Tuesdays.

Ice Bars

I went to my very first Ice Bar in Rome in Febuary of this year. We had the place all to ourselves, but honestly it was so cool and after searching for the one in Barcelona, only to realize we were standing on top of it, we had to go in. Huge coats, gloves and fur covered seats made ice bars a major standout to me. I love them.


Now katmcd is telling me that there is a new Ice Bar open in Baltimore called Minus5 Ice Lounge. Duh, of course we're going there. How about a random day in Bmore people?

Cava Sangria

After K2 and I made a strong attempt to go see Inception Saturday night, and every show was sold out, we decided to head to La Tasca for some sangria and tapas. Freaking delicious. I went to Spain last year (twice) with katmcd and sangria is now an ingredient in my diet. It's so delicious. But we have found that Cava Sangria is simply the best. Less bitter than regular sangria and just tasty. The bartender at La Tasca saw that we were having a nice time after our first regular sangria pitcher. I convinced K2 to try the cava sangria and while he was making it, he literally poured 3/4 of a bottle of champange in the pitcher before adding the fruit and sangria mixture. It was a great night.

My mom bought me Level 1 and Level 2 for my trip to Spain last year. I love it, and I really learned Spanish from it. I wish I was fluent though. I've always wanted to be full bi-lingual or multi-lingual. It's one of my life goals I hope I have time to fulfill.

As a senior at GW, you go there every Tuesday night for $1 beer night. When I was a senior, I lived around the corner from the bar, and went there sometimes 3 nights a weekend. I used to know everyone who worked there, drank for free some nights, hooked up with a bartender there, and met many military boys and other stupid boy toys there. It was my kickball bar last season and this season is too! It's changed a ton, but I still love to go there and relive being a senior in college. Silly? Nope. See ya tonight!

katmcd and I spent all day at Warped Tour today. Mike Posner performed earlier in the day and then we saw him again at his signing tent. We didn't get anything signed but stood at an awkwardly close distance and took a pic. But we were walking out of the venue, and there he was. He was so nice, took a pic with both of us and even took off his sunglasses. Super nice.

Lazy Sundays

For the first time in a long time, I didn't have to work today. Of course it's after my relationship ended. So I spent today at the pool with MB, and then watching random movies. PS I love you, I don't know why, I just can't not watch it. I love the movie. And as much as I really hate Hillary Swank, and am so not in the mood for any happy endings, this movie always just makes me happy, and somehow reminds me that I'm going to be fine.

Tats

I have 3. This guy at softball last night was hilarious. He saw Christian's tattoos on his leg, says, Oh he's got tats. I reply, we all got tats. He says, you've got some? And I was like, yeah, multiple. Maybe you needed to see the facial expressions.

Boone's Farm

Kevin decided yesterday that we would no longer be in a relationship. I was devastated, and then Zig came over with Boone's and MB and K2 brought me wine. Amazing friends. :)

Cell Phones

Kevin has gone MIA for the last 2 days. I've called, emailed, and texted. Not in a stalker way though. Maybe a text or call every 6 hours? What did I do? We're in a serious relationship. Pick up the f'ing phone and call me back, because I've been hysterically crying for 2 days straight.
